C4 Original has been around for years. It's one of the oldest pre-workout formulas that still exists. With that being said, it also means that the doses used then is not the same when used now. Despite that, people have found it effective, making it probably one of the most cost effective pre-workouts. Perfect for beginners.
C4 Original has a low serving size of 6.5g meaning that when compared with newer pre-workouts, it does not pack as much punch (technically you could double dose and it would still be fine as the amount of every ingredient is not high at all, but don't quote us on it). Furthermore, parts of the formula is a proprietary blend, hence the amount of each ingredient in it is unknown.
People who have heart and blood pressure/coagulation problems should not take pre-workout as the ingredients in this product can cause problems. For example, Arginine affects blood pressure and can worsen your condition if you have high or low blood pressure. That being said, if you're taking any medications that affect blood pressure like a PDE-5 inhibitor (Viagra) you should also not take pre-workout. As always, if you have a medical condition, you should always consult a professional first.
A cool, dry place away from sunlight and direct heat. The ingredients in pre-workout are hydrophilic, meaning they will absorb water at any opportunity, causing clumps and possibly damage the ingredients. As a general rule, consume them within 3 months of opening, but that will vary depending on where you store them. A fridge may be beneficial.
